New Forest West Inspector Darren Ord has assured the people of Ringwood that the police take burglary very seriously and promised that the Police would "relentlessly pursue" the thieves who broke into a number of commercial properties in Ringwood over the weeken of 12-14th May.
The area at the end of Christchurch Road at Friday's Cross was hit. A salon lost a quantity of cash and the front door of a shop was forced and money taken.
Thieves also broke into a garage in Betsy Lane (Bransgore) and stole two expensive bicycles. Inspector Darren Ord said:
“We understand that news of these burglaries in Ringwood from over the weekend will cause concern within the local community,” Insp. Ord wrote.
“We will continue to relentlessly pursue criminals so that their lives, not those of local people, are a misery.
“We are absolutely clear that this behaviour will not be tolerated.”
